Ladies Benevolent Society

The Ladies Benevolent Society meets on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7pm at the Whitingham Community Church to raise money to help local towns people with fuel, electric and grocery assistance as needed.  They prepare meals for fellowships after funerals and collect items needed for the White Cross.  For more information contact Sherry Adams at (802) 368-7239 or JoAnn Brown at (802) 368-2663.

Whitingham Historical Society

The Whitingham Historical Society meets in the Municipal Center three times per year in April, July and October to run historical programs for the public.  The Museum, located in the center of Whitingham Village at Green Mountain Hall, is open Sundays from 2 to 4pm from July through September (or by appointment).  For more information contact Stella Stevens at (802) 368-2448.

Red Hats

The Red Hats meet on the second Wednesday of each month for lunch to promote social and fun interaction for mature women who live alone by wearing red hats and eating out together.  You must be 60 or over to join, there is no fee to join.  For more information contact Jean Sarnie 368-7425.
