Ordinance Regulating All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)

ADOPTION OF CIVIL ORDINANCE REGULATING ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES (ATVs)

At their meeting on June 3, 2020 the Whitingham Selectboard adopted a civil Ordinance Regulating All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) to become effective on August 2, 2020.

The new ordinance is attached below or by hard copy available in the Town Clerk's office.  It covers Authority, Purpose, Denitions, Designated Town Highways and Town Trails open to ATV Use under this Ordinance, Specific Provisions for ATV Use, Enforcement, Effective Date.

Citizens of the Town of Whitingham have the right to petition for a vote on the question of disapproving this ordinance per Title 24 V.S.A. § 1973.
